While John M. Browning pioneered the 1911, Essex Arms was one of the first to pioneer the aftermarket frame and slide. For over 30 years we provided some of the nations top pistol smiths with slides and receivers. Today in 2003 we are able to provide our customers with a product that has more custom features, top quality and is priced right.

In Nov. 1999 Essex Arms moved into our new facility in the rolling hills of Hardwick VT. Along with the new building we purchased all new CNC's and new fixtures. This alone allowed us to expand our product line and more important increase the quality of the product. That is why we are giving our products a life time warranty. Taking care of you the customer is our first priority.

Essex Arms is owned by Americans and our slides and frames are made right here in the USA. Honesty is what this company is based upon and determination is why we will succeed.
